Water Nodes

The question
How does water carry memory, and how do maternal histories move through the body?
Context
A hybrid immersive installation and performance, held live and remote at once. Motion capture was streamed through the Goldsmiths Mocap Streamer during a six-month virtual residency at Goldsmiths, University of London, in 2022.
The work joins motion capture, performance and intergenerational maternal memory, with dancers in New Delhi and Brazil.
